BIOGRAPHY
The Italian coloratura soprano Bianca Tognocchi is a graduate of the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and has won prizes at numerous competitions, including R. Tebaldi, M. Pobbe, M. Olivero, R. Zandonai, F. Mattiucci, G.B. Rubini, G. Zecca, A. Colzani, A. Giacomotti, Grand prix de l'Opera, As.Li.Co. and many others.
Bianca's projects in 2023/24 include: Fanny/LA CAMBIALE DI MATRIMONIO in Geneva, La cantante italiana/CAPRICCIO and Clorinda/LA CENERENTOLA at the Frankfurt Opera, Norina/DON PASQUALE at Tiroler Festspiele Erl and Musetta/LA BOHÈME at Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari.
Since the season 2020/21 she is a member of the Frankfurt Opera ensemble, where she sang: Madama Brillante (Cimarosa's L'italiana in Londra), Olga (Fedora) and Despina (Cosí fan tutte), Die Italienische Sängerin (Capriccio), Norina (Don Pasquale) e.a. In the 2021/2022 season, Bianca made her debut at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf in the role of Lucia Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor).
She has collaborated with important artists such as: R. Muti, G. Kuhn, F. Luisi, F. Haider, U. Schirmer, L. Zagrosek, J.C. Spinosi, R. Villazón, V. Grigolo, M. Pertusi, D. Michieletto , C. Loy, K. Holten, P. L. Pizzi and others.
