BIOGRAPHY
Born in South Korea in 1991, Min attended the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino where he sang various roles in different productions. Besides that, he was distinguished in various singing competitions like Maria Caniglia of Sulmona in 2016 (special prize), Andrea Chénier of Foggia in 2018 (first prize), and Riccardo Zandonai of Riva del Garda in 2018 (first prize ex aequo). He was a finalist at the Corradetti Competition in Padua 2021, where he won the scholarship named after Paolo Silveri; in 2022 he won the first prize at the Voci Mascagnane Competition inLivorno.
Min's recent engagements include Silvio / PAGLIACCI and Anatolio / AL MULINO by Ottorino Respighi (world premiere) at Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Capitan Spavento / LE MASCHERE by Pietro Mascagni at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, Belcore / L'ELISIR D'AMORE in Savona and Ping / TURANDOT at Petruzzelli in Bari under the baton of Renato Palumbo. He also sang Alfio / CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA in Livorno, Conte di Luna / IL TROVATORE in Livorno, Lucca and Savona, Marcello / LA BOHЀME at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Giacomo Sagripanti conducting).
Among his next projects, the debut in the title role of RIGOLETTO (Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari) and Germont / LA TRAVIATA at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
