BIOGRAPHY

Andrea Pellegrini studied at the Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” in Parma, where he graduated in 2014. From 2016 to 2018, he was a member of the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, performing in productions such as I vespri siciliani, Lucrezia Borgia, and La clemenza di Tito, under conductors including Roberto Abbado and Fabio Biondi.

He made his Teatro alla Scala debut in 2021 in Macbeth conducted by Riccardo Chailly, and has since returned for productions including Rigoletto, Fedora, I vespri siciliani, and Simon Boccanegra. Other recent highlights include Simon Boccanegra at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Don Carlo and I puritani at the Teatro Comunale Pavarotti-Freni in Modena, and Traviata at Teatro Verdi in Trieste.

A frequent guest at the Festival Verdi in Parma, his roles there have included Ramfis (Aida), the Frate (Don Carlo), and Pistola (Falstaff). In 2025, he makes his debut as Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Festival de la Musica in Cartagena, Colombia.
