Born in Palermo/Italy, he began his studies in singing with Paride Venturi, parallelly he studied architecture. Later he entered the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Accademia Verdiana in Busseto with Carlo Bergonzi.

He gave his debut on stage in Spoleto in the part of  Malatesta in DON PASQUALE and since then he was invited in many opera houses with several parts of his repertoire as Zurga/LES PECHEURS DE PERLES at Teatro La Fenice Venezia, Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI in Turin and at Teatro Regio di Parma, Riccardo/I PURITANI at Teatro Massimo Palermo and at the Savonlinna- Festival, Sharpless/MADAMA BUTTERFLY at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Massimo Palermo, San Carlo in Napoli and in Seoul Arts Center. Furthermore he sung Sulpice/LA FILLE DI REGIMENT in Palermo and at Royal Opera House Muscat and Fabrizio/LA GAZZA LADRA at Teatro Comunale Bologna.

He was regular guest at Teatro alla Scala Milano, where gave his debut in one of his parade-role Figaro/IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA and he sung Lescaut/MANON di Massenet, Marcello/LA BOHEME, Taddeo/L`ITALIANA IN ALGERI, Marco/GIANNI SCHICCHI, Germano/LA SCALA DI SETA, Sulpice/LA FILLE DI REGIMENT and Mamma Agata/LE CONVENIENZE ED INCONVENIENZE TEATRALI.

As one of the most requested Rossini-performer, he sung Figaro/IL BARBIERE SI SIVIGLIA at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Teatro La Fenice Venezia, Opera di Roma, Teatro Massimo Palermo,  Festival Abu Dhabi and at Capitole Toulouse.  In the part of Prosdocimo/IL TURCO IN ITALIA he was invited to the Teatro Carlo Felice Genova, Teatro Regio Torino and Opera Dijon, as Pacuvio/LA PIETRA DEL PARAGONE and Tobia Mill/LA CAMBIALE DI MATRIMONIO was guest in Teatro lirico Cagliari. In addition he recently debuted Don Bartolo/IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Teatro Regio Parma and Teatro Bellini Catania, as well as Don Magnifico/LA CENERENTOLA at Teatro Comunale Bologna and in Bergamo.

In Belcanto-repertoire he sung Belcore/L´ELISIR D´AMORE at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Massimo Palermo and in Verona, Enrico/LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and recently  gave his debut as Dulcamara/ L´ELISIR D´AMORE at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari too.

As flexible and versatile singer he has a large repertoire and interprets many roles of different composers a.o. Marchese Tulipano/IL MATRIMONIO INASPETTATO by Paisiello at the Whitsun Festival Salzburg under Riccardo Muti, Germont/LA TRAVIATA in a Japan-Tour with the ROH Covent Garden London and at Teatro Massimo Palermo, Silvio/PAGLIACCI at Teatro San Carlo Napoli, Ping/TURANDOT in Arena di Verona, at Royal Opera House Muscat, Teatro Carlo Felice Genova, Teatro Massimo Palermo and at Festival St. Margarethen, Paolo/SIMON BOCCANEGRA at NCPA in Peking and Frá Melitone/LA FORZA DEL DESTINO at Teatro Carlo Felice Genova.

He worked with famous conductors like Pappano, Muti, Chailly, Dudamel, Capuano, Abel, Allemandi, Oren, Arrivabeni, Chung, Fourniller, Mariotti, Renzetti, Rousset, Santi, Soudant, Steinberg, and stage directors like McVicar, Corsetti, Crivelli, Dante, Livermore Michieletto, Moshinsky, Albanese, Ronconi, Sparvoli, Strassberger and Zeffirelli.

Current and future projects include Dulcamara/L'ELISIR D´AMORE at Teatro Comunale Bologna, Malatesta/DON PASQUALE at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Geronimo/IL MATRIMONIO SEGRETO at Teatro Massimo Palermo, Marcello/LA BOHEME at Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania as well as Don Magnifico/LA CENERENTOLA in the Smetana Hall in Prague and a Gala-Konzert at der Royal Opera House Muscat.
